Q: QuestionDoes this dishwasher have to have a cord installed or can it be hardwired?

• A:Answer There is NO cord, it's 2 short wires, black and white. Also a grounding wire. Not sure you can connect a cord with plug. I hardwired mine to a cord that runs behind my wall and in the attic and connected to the breaker box.

Q: QuestionThe “hold for 3 sec” options don’t work. Holding the dry button for 3 seconds doesn’t bring up the delay 4 hours light. Holding start button for 3 seconds doesn’t cancel the cycle. Is there something else I should be doing before I return this dishwasher?

• A:Answer I just installed it today. During the check for leaks, it instructed me to run it long enough to hear the water fill, then hold cancel for 3 seconds to pump out water. The instructions said the pump process takes 90 seconds. After I added dishes and ran a 1hr cycle to complete, I accidentally hit a button- I had to open the door and press and hold cancel for 3-4 seconds. Haven't messed with the delay 4 hours yet.

• A:Answer Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us! For Wash Cycle Selections: Cycle times are approximate and will vary with the options selected. Hot water is necessary to activate dishwasher detergent and melt fatty food soils. An automatic sensor will check the incoming water temperature and, if it is not hot enough, the cycle will be lengthened for automatic water heating in the main wash and final rinse of all cycles. This happens even when the high-temperature wash option has not been selected. When High temp wash is selected, an even higher temperature will be reached to handle heavier soil loads. Furthermore, the dishwasher is programmed to remember your last cycle so you do not have to reset each time. To start the dishwasher using the same cycle and options selected on the previous wash, just press the START/CANCEL pad. We hope this information is useful to you. ~Sam
