“There is styrofoam inside the main air vent of the refrigerator. Should it be removed?”

Hi Joanna. No, the styrofoam is placed to control air movement and should not be removed. ~ Anna

I had the same question about our FFTR1814WW delivered 6 days ago. After registering the unit, I created a log in and asked Frigidaire via chat. The said it was supposed to be there for insulation and would need to be replaced if removed.
