i just bought this and it DOES not require any draining in AC mode... you only need to drain if you use dehumidifier. i just called frigidaire to confirm this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a place to put a hose if you use this as a dehumidifier. You can run it as an AC and you won't need to use that. You just need to keep the distance between your unit and the window as short as possible. Also - try to keep that path as straight as possible. The moisture will just vent out the window.
