All A/C units operate pretty much the same. They blow cold air out the front, and hot air out the back. The hot air has to be vented out of the room. So if the room has no windows, one option is to vent the unit out through an exterior wall. The hot air exhaust hose will fit into a 6" vent hood (type used to vent dryers, kitchen/bathroom fans). You or a handyman will have to cut a 6" diameter hole in an exterior wall to install the vent hood, and allow proper venting.
