“Someone commented that this Frigidaire portable AC cannot be on the same circuit as a computer or the circuit will trip. Is that accurate? Can it be on the same circuit as a desktop computer? Need its primarily to cool a home office with a computer.”

I am not an electrician, but I would think it depends on the load you have on the circuit. I currently have mine plugged into the same circuit as my computer and it has not been any problem for me.

If the wall receptacle you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified electrician install the proper receptacle.
