Why after a P1 appear on my ac after that it keeps filling up in less the 20 minutes and its on cool and its filling up real fast and its already frustrating me

I have NEVER had any indicator alert that shows drainage is necessary, it just leaks all over the place, even from places where it is not supposed to have drainage. I have the included drainage hose properly installed which drains into a large heavy-duty bucket that is emptied daily. Yet it still reeks of mildew
