Mine is at six. Five wasn't cold enough. When you adjust, give it 24 hours to make the change.

However, the temperature control is adjustable to provide a range of temperatures for your personal satisfaction. To adjust the temperature colder, turn the control knob toward the higher number setting. After changing the temperature, allow 24 hours for the unit to adjust.
