No problems with ours . My guess improper handling sometimes minor glass scratches durning transport from truck to or during movement install pure speculation unless defective manufacturer install from factory. glass even tempered can crack it expands with heat. I would exchange it . Call your store. Hope this helps.

In your paper work you should have the number for warranty services I am sure this is covered under your warranty. If that doesn't work contact the dealer you purchased the stove from.
