Is this a self-defrosting refrigerator? null

No, unfortunately not. I thought it was when I purchased but was probably another option I was looking at when making my decision. The few months I've had it so far, frost has not been that much of an issue but it does come with a little scraper to help keep it from getting out of hand.

I'm unsure because I had issues with mine and had to destroy/dispose of it after submitting a warranty claim for the freezer not properly working ?

No it has to be manually defrosted.
