Hi Shorty - From the User Guide: Ambient temperature below 50F or above 85F will hinder the performance of this appliance. This unit is not designed for use in a garage or any other outside installation. If you wish to temporarily turn off the unit when not using, be sure to prop the door open to prevent the growth of mold or odors.
