Adjusting the tempature? Even though it says that the temp can be down to 46 degrees, I can't get it down below 53%. I am using the down arrow and it says that i adjust to 46, but it never goes below 53. What am I doing wrong?

How warm is the room it is located in? The manual suggests a maximum temperature for the room in order to bring the internal temperature down - mine won't go below 54 in a room that is about 82. If you have it tucked into a small space, do you have adequate ventilation? The cooler itself may be heating up the space if you do not have room behind it for the fan exhaust.

It could be that you are opening the door too much, or perhaps the heat sources around the unit plays apart in the temp. Try moving it to a cooler location. Just a thought.
