• For most installs yes but for mine no! I was able to modify the install so that I could keep the oak wood trim around the microwave to go with the flow of the cabinetry. Also, the base slide in of my old Sears elite m/w could have been used but I elected not to do so.

• Hi, Nick! The microwave trim kit is sold separately. The trim kits for this model are GMTK3068AF and GMTK2768AF. -Chris
