It does not, and honestly you're going to want to pick up a few packs just to get familiar with the Instax. The film choices are part of the fun too. Decorative borders with stars, confetti, or rainbow splashes are more fun than you'd think, and there's black and white options for film too. Shooting is about $1 a photo - which is fine for some, too much for others.

Mine had the film included, but as a separate item. I bought an additional film cartridge because I wasn’t sure.
