“Why doesn't it recommend the matching case and traffic cord so can order everything together and make sure it's the right one for the device? Can you tell me the what cord and case?”

The unit does come with the traffic cord. If you had an older Nuvi model, the traffic cord had a large rectangular block in the power cord. These do not require the old style cords. The reason it does not identify the soft case for these is because of the camera lens on the back of the unit. I do not think they make one. I have a soft case from my previous DriveSmart GPS that holds it but it is very tight and does not close. I also have the dashboard mount and it works very well. It does not stick to the window just rests on the dashboard and does not move when driving.
