• Yes this gps pairs with the BC30, it does not pair with the older BC20.

• I have the bc-30 camera wired into my car and was using it with an older model Garmin. I also have the old traffic receiver cable installed as part of the installation. When I got the DriveSmart, I just unplugged the old Garmin and plugged in the new one and it detected the camera immediately. Works great!
