“A couple of questions. 1; I don't use a smartphone can I update maps from my home computer? 2; I don't want to put it on my windshield. Has anyone else bought the beanbag accessory for this model? I've read the 61's near 7 inch frame is too big for it.”

1. I have updated the maps from my computer. Connect using the supplied USB cable. 2. I don't put mine on my windshield either. There are several mounting options: a) Big Lots sells a large gooseneck clamp that plugs into the 12V socket. b) there probably is a cupholder clamp large enough to fit the GPS. c) for dash mounting you can use the provided suction-cup mount on a smooth surface or get a heavy beanbag mount.
