• Yes it does. I have a 2557 LMT as well. Much better coverage and a lot more traffic updates

• The GTM60 will give you more detail (such as if there is an accident, construction, road closure) as well as a faster refresh rate for the traffic information. This means that it will give more up to date information than the traffic that comes with the nuvi 2557LMT.
