“How does the GTM 60 attach to the 1490LMT? There is no female receptacle on the 1490 that accepts the mini USB male plug on the GTM 60”

The GTM 60 cable will plug directly into the nuvi 1450LMT on the backside, in place of where the original power cable plugged in. Please note that the nuvi 1490LMT is not compatible with GTM 60.
