“During SmartWatch mode, the battery life is extended but does it still count steps? I ask because I would want to set it to SmartWatch mode during work (i walk a lot during work and want to see how many steps I walked).”

• Yes it will still count steps. Haven't charge mine in over a week and I'm > 80%! I only use mine as a watch/activity tracker, so not notifcations/GPS etc for me. I love this watch!
