“I have a Garmin Nubia 2797 LM I NEED A CAR KIT TO CHARGE THIS UNIT will this charger work ? Also I have tried charging on a usb cable but does not seem to work it come on and goest right back”

Yes, the cable will work to power the device in a vehicle. This cable will not provide the traffic information for the device, for that you would need a traffic receiver cable. \tw/
