I believe if you don't have a phone or tablet, you will need a Bluetooth dongle for your computer. Unless Bluetooth is built in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, a phone nor a SDHC card is not required the unit is sealed (battery is still replaceable - after roughly a year). A computer is perfectly acceptable, in fact it comes with a wireless USB dongle (tiny plug in USB device) with ANT wireless technology. This allows the Garmin to sync its data allowing you to get a beautiful picture of all your statistics.
