• Caution: my son broke his by wearing it to the beach. Sand got into the button and now the button is stuck in the down position.

• The vivofit jr. 2 does have a water rating that allows it to be worn while swimming or bathing without getting water damage.

• My son also wore is watch to the beach ONCE and the button is full of sand. But the watch is clearly waterproof... not sandprood!
