“How do you get the control panel to aluminate”

• The control panel does not have any illumination or backlighting. Also, there are no tactile indicators on the control panel to guide a sight-impaired person or, otherwise, a person with vision in a darkened room. You may need light from another source, such as the kitchen light, or perhaps a small flashlight to see and read the controls, if using this microwave in a darkened room. At the low price and other features and quality, I am happy with it, anyway.

• Hey Buda! Thanks for reaching out! This model does not have backlit controls so there would not be a way to illuminate the control panel. We apologize about that! We do hope that this helps though! We'd recommend turning on a kitchen light if you're able or using another light source, such as a flashlight, if you're having difficulty seeing the control panel in a darkened room.
