“Hi, the plastic is bubbling up and coming off the microwave over the 30 Second button and we’ve only had this for a few months. I’m assuming because we use that button so frequently. Is this covered under the warranty?”

This thread is great! I also thought I had this problem, but sure enough I was able to remove the plastic. It wasn’t obvious and I was afraid to make it worse until I read this thread. After removal all seems ok. Thanks!

We are sorry to hear the plastic is bubbling over the 30 second button after a few months. Many microwaves are now packed with a plastic film applied to the outside of the door and control panel. This film prevents scratching during shipping. Be certain this film is removed. It is a static cling film that should peel off easily.
