“Can you use the timer while the microwave is running?”

• Hey there, and thanks for this great question! The Timer and microwave functions (like Time Cook, Express Cook, etc.) cannot be used at the same time; we regret any inconvenience this may cause. The Timer functions as a minute timer and can also be used as a hold setting after defrosting. More information on the Timer is available on page 12 of the manual (which can be viewed on our GE website by looking up the model number and going to the product page) if that may be helpful.
