If it just died, take it right AWAY back to Best Buy with your receipt because it's within the 15 day period & they will give you a brand new one! You would have to look at your owners manual & call GE. I think it's a year but I'm guessing. Next time buy the GEEK warranty for 4 years. Because I bought something else at Best Buy & didn't buy the protection because it said 2 yrs of warranty & I ended up having to pay for shipping it to the company & it cost a lot more than their protection plan.
