“I can't figure out how to defrost meat. I hit the defrost button and then when I hit a number for the number of pounds nothing happens. I can't even press start. Would you kindly give me the directions to defrost 1 lb of meat?”

According to the sticker inside the microwave, you should enter the number of ounces, not pounds, with a minimum of 4 oz & max of 100 oz. Any number less than 4 will not work. Press Weight Defrost, enter the weight in ounces, then press Start. There is also a Time Defrost feature.

The Weight Defrost feature allows you to defrost food by its weight. Press Weight Defrost, enter weight from 4 to 99 ounces (1lb = 16 oz). Press Start. The power level isn't adjustable when using Weight Defrost. These instructions can be found on page 11 in the owner's manual. We hope that this helps. Let us know if any other questions come up.
