Hello Keri - Thank you for reaching out about your microwave. We are sorry to hear about the interior of your microwave. Peeling paint can happen in a variety of ways. A consistent build up of moisture due to heating high moisture content foods can loosen the coating. Another reason could be arcing, due to metal being placed in the cavity, caused arcing and compromised the integrity of the coating. The cavity coating in our microwave ovens is selected to be safely used as a food-contact surface and meets our and applicable government requirements for such use. However, If the coating is actively flaking or paint is peeling anywhere inside the oven cavity (including under the turntable) discontinue the use of the microwave and replace it. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That happened to mine. I think it's from too much condensation. I wouldn't use it.
