Does the control panel light up? or only the clock null

Only the clock, and the display is not very bright. (for White model)

I bought a GE over-the-range model that had only the clock light. The control panel lettering was so pale that I had to use a small flashlight to see the icons. This unit seems to be the same way and I would not recommend it.

The control panel does not offer back lighting. -Vikki@GEAppliances
