A:AnswerDepends on what version of model you got. I learned on the warranty registration page there are at least 8 different versions that all have the same model number. Ridiculous huh? As an engineer with training in parts classification systems, that is a no no. The unit's owner's manual on Best Buy says unit has incandescent bulbs, while the manual on GE site says it has halogen. Both say two lights and if I remember 40W. The unit delivered to me in May has only one cooktop light and it has a blade style base with 2 prongs. It is marked with Aglaia 130v 50w. This light is way brighter than my old unit. I thought I might be disappointed that there was only one light but it is actually more than adequate as all four corners of cooktop are well iluminated.
A:AnswerI honestly can't recommend because customer service screwed up my order. I was told it was compatible to this model... and its not. It seemed to fit once installation however, when we opened the door there was not enough space for the door hinge to open. They sent the wrong color too.
