• Hello- We appreciate your loyalty to our GE Appliances brand. This new model will fit in your space. The newer model is slightly smaller, but it will still work in your cutout. ~It is also important to know that you will need to use the mounting brackets and hardware that come with the new microwave. The mounting kits have changed over the years and are not interchangeable. Current models are installed with the use of a mounting plate. We hope this helps! Joyce@GEA
