yes you have to rotate the blower motor before installing to make it self ventilating

yes. The air comes out just behind opening door on the right side top. Fane need to be repositioned before installation so read your directions. Also charcoal filter has to be installed for this selection BEFORE it is mounted. Again read the instructions before you mount the unit.

Hi - Yes, the microwave oven is designed for adaptation for the following three types of ventilation: Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position). Outside Exhaust (Horizontal). Recirculating (Non-vented ductless). The vent is located on top, just above the door. The Recirculating Charcoal Filter JX81L is included.
