- Answer Replacing microwave handles requires disassembly of the door, and therefore should be replaced by a service technician. Any adjustment or repair involving the microwave door needs to be followed up by a leak test to make sure of proper fit, operation, and alignment. This must be done by a qualified technician. - Answer We're not familiar with a smv-360 and do not have replacement information available. This GE Appliances microwave fits in a 30" wide opening. It offers a 1.6 cubic foot capacity oven interior and offers 1000 watts of cooking power.

- Answer All of our current over-the-range microwaves, including convection, Advantium ovens, vent hoods, and telescopic downdraft vents can be installed over gas ranges and cooktops, with a combined surface burner BTU rating of approximately 65,000 BTUs or less. As long as the 66" minimum clearance from the floor to the top of the microwave is followed there will be no issues.

We have multiple models that may be a good fit for you, including JVM6175DKBB. Please note that you should use the mounting bracket and hardware that comes with the new microwave, rather than trying to use an old bracket or hardware; the design can change over time and is model-specific, so we can’t speak to the compatibility and reliability if you use old hardware.
