Hello and thanks so much for the interest in this excellent microwave. We're glad to hear you have been part of the GEA family for many years. Due to the age of you current microwave, finding a model that will line up precisely to vent location and drill holes is difficult. However, this model is extremely close and would be a great fit. We recommend checking out the installation templates for cutout locations. Thanks. - John@GEAppliances
