Hi She- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are happy to provide assistance. The Power Ratings are Volts/Hertz/Amps: 120v; 60Hz; 15A. Requires a 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. Should be on a dedicated circuit. This is recommended for best performance and to prevent overloading house wiring circuits. The rating plate on the unit has the electrical specifications. If used on a generator, 3000 - 4500 WATT generator is recommended. Thanks for checking with us!
