Hi Yogi - Thanks for viewing GE Model AHP05LZ! This unit has a "fixed" chassis with vents along the sides and top. This window air conditioner is not designed for through-the-wall installation. We suggest viewing our Built-in Room Air Conditioners at this link: https://www.geappliances.com/ge-appliances/laundry-home/home-products/residential-air-conditioners/?Type=Built-In - If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to ask. We are also happy to help at GEAppliances.com! Sue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit has a small plugged hole in bnb the bottom three quarters towards the rear for drainage. I is typically not for in wall design.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe there are specific deigned units for wall placements. These are window units made for windows. Im sure it would work, but I believe there's side vents on these for a reason and that's why there's ones deigned for wall placement like in your situation. But short answer, yes it should work. Do I recommended it? No. But it should work.
