• Hi Matty - The window air conditioners are designed for installation in a standard double hung window and not casement or sliding windows. Portable Air Conditioners are good for locations where you cannot install a window unit, like sliding or casement windows. • If you go on u tube they will show you how to convert to casement window I did worked great
