Pretty sure that it needs a kit to convert the plumbing over as it comes as a portable. Your also may need an electrician to hook up the electricity depending on codes. And yes the casing and wheels will need to come off but does not look very difficult to do. If your house has already had a builtin dishwasher, it should not be a very difficult project, BUT make sure your opening will work with the size of the dishwasher.

Check with BestBuy or purchase online at GEApplianceParts.com - The sides, top and rollers must be removed (replace with leveling legs), water valve changed and springs re-located.
