While it is not a standard appliance industry practice to test the decibel ratings of washers, rest assured that the normal operating sounds of this washer will blend seamlessly into the overall sounds of your home. A washer does make some sound when in use. Sounds such as water filling into the tub, the tub or basket spinning, and water draining are examples of normal sounds from a washer.
