QuestionI can't find any way to know how cold the refrigerator is, or how to control the temp. There is NO owner's manual delivered with my new refrigerator model#GDE21EGKRWW. How can I get an owner's manual?

- Answer As a company, we no longer provide physical copies of our literature. You can locate the Use and Care Manual for this refrigerator model in the "From the Manufacturer" section of this product page. The bottom section of page 7 in the Use and Care Manual provides step-by-step instructions for how to set the temperature for the fresh food and freezer sections. Please note, the unit arrives at your home set at the proper temperature, 0°F for the freezer and 37°F in the fresh food compartment. Please allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize to the proper setting.

- Answer We just did not hook it up. But it doesn't really need to be removed, as it doesn't take up much space. The shelves are quite deep. Pint sized jars easily fit under it.

QuestionWe've had this fridge a couple months and have had issues with the doors closing properly. If you are not hyper vigilant the door stays slightly open and the fridge stops working. Has any one else had this issue?

- Answer It has an alarm that beeps after 2 minutes with the door open. I have that feature active and it has helped several times.
