Q: We want to buy a refrigerator from the Bosch 800 series but we have one concern. The opening we have from floor to the top of our cabinetry is exactly 72 inches, and the top hinges on the Bosch 800 refrigerators is also reported as 72 inches. Will it fit?

A: Short answer: yes!!! We, like many, also had the same concern. If you look at the frig., the only portion the is approx. 72 inches is the door. The rest of the frig. is only about 71" tall...

Q: I need pro handles for my Bosch 4 door refrigerator (B36CL80SNS). I realize that there is not a specific kit available for this model, so what are my alternatives? Could I use the BOHANDL40 for the two horizontal handles mix with two Thermador handles?

A: The above is the typical answer you get from Bosch, which is not helpful. I even called them, but the reps. were clueless. As mentioned, we purchased the Bosch 4-door refrigerator B36CL80SNS, but wanted the professional handles. We loved the refrigerator, but hated the modern handles. I was determined to get what I wanted so here's what I ended up doing. The BOHAND-40 kit (which is not made for the model we own) comes with four handles...two for the refrigerator doors and two for the freezer doors. I ended up placing two orders of BOHAND-40 and only used the four handles intended for the refrigerator doors. Two of these handles worked perfectly for my freezer and produce drawers, while the other two hand to be shortened (cut) to proper length to fit my refrigerator doors. In the end, I got the handles I wanted for the B36CL80SNS. Was it expensive?...yes (two handle kits cost over $600.). Was it wasteful?...yes, because I didn't use four freezer handles between my two orders. Am I happy with my fridge and handles?...yes. Was Bosch helpful?...no. Why does not Bosch offer professional handles for this model?...who knows (don't buy this model if you want professional handles and are willing to do what I did).

    Love everything about it

    This is a sleek looking French door refrigerator absolutely love it so far. Loads of room much more space then my last counter depth i love all the features. Also it’s 72 inches tall so it looks like a built in.

    Good BUT

    There are a few small dings on the door that I didn’t notice on delivery day, but that’s definitely the way that it arrived. So much going on with the move that I didn’t feel like going thru the hassle of asking for a replacement.
