A:AnswerThe filter only lasts so long. My old unit would go to 99 days and stay there until I replaced the filter. But it still worked fine. Just bothersome looking at it. My only complaint is the cost of the filters. Check with Amazon.com to see if they have a after market filter vs name brand filter. But yes, it's replacement time. Fyi
A:AnswerKeep touching the temperature button. It will go up to say 42 degrees and revert back down to 35 degrees. You just touch the button to the desired temperature. Just try it. It works.
A:AnswerI don't have a db reading on my unit but it's quiet vs my old 5 year old GE unit. You won't notice it and it keeps the temperature perfect on the inside. Fyi
A:AnswerSadly, no. That is probably the biggest complaint I have heard about this ridge. After having it doe a couple of week, it does not matter. Even in the dark I can pick the spot to touch to get water or ice, which is really the only thing I change frequently. Everything else is set it and forget it.

A:AnswerOpen the ice door and there is a lever you raise up. Open the door. You will raise the ice storage up and out. Sometimes you my jiggle the unit but it will come out. This way you can fill up a ice chest for traveling. Make sure you put it back the same way. Once you do it a few times it's like old school method.

A:AnswerFrom what I read it's a 1 year warranty. I didn't go for the extended warranty. My old GE refrigerator lasted just over my 5 year warranty which the cost didn't justify buying. I'll take my changes and save my warranty money. FYI
