A:AnswerHi - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your washer. Tangled, twisted or knotted clothes are usually a result of improper sorting of wash loads. To prevent clothing from knotting and twisting: Avoid mixing heavy items with light items. Avoid putting too many or too few items in the washer. Make sure you set the proper water level for the size load you are doing. See Washers Water Level And Load Size: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17041 - Never wrap the clothes around the agitator. See Washers Proper Washer Loading. See Washers Proper Washer Loading: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18633 - Be sure your wash water is not too hot for the fabric. We hope these tips are helpful. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com - Sue

A:AnswerHi - To soak a load, press Pause to pause the washer then shut the lid. Pressing Pause will unlock the lid (if locked at that time), pause the cycle and the Start/Pause indicator light will blink. When done soaking the load, push the Start / Pause button again for the washer to resume it’s wash action. Note: Machine will automatically drain any time the lid is left open for more than 15 minutes and water is present. Machine will automatically drain if left in a paused state with the lid closed for more than 24 hours and water is present. For reference, see pages 4 (AUTOMATIC DRAIN SEQUENCE) and 8 (A: Start/Pause) of the Owner's Manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90576-3.pdf - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com - Sue

A:AnswerI am sorry to say, I don't know. Only because I am still waiting on delivery of this washer and matching dryer. They were ordered first week in August with a Sept 4th delivery. Dryer arrived at warehouse, but washer did not, so delivery date has been set for the future. 2 auto calls have had wrong date and time and I have had to reach out to Best Buy to correct the misinformation. Good luck
