Hi Sulia- "Garage ready" means the freezer has been tested to perform from 0°F to 110°F and suitable for garage installation. It is not designed for outdoor use (exposed to outdoor elements). It should be placed in a dry, well ventilated room. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
