A:AnswerI'lm not sure if this will help you.... I have the Diamond Gray and the settings are a light gray and can be easily seen. I'lm sure it is that way on all of the different colors since the settings panel would be the same part on all of the machines and the different colors would just be the outer shell.

A:AnswerI mostly use the "normal" load setting with extra rinse full of clothes and it takes 65min, doing my dirty greasy work clothes I use the"power stream" with pre soak, heavy soil and extra rinse which takes like 1hr 45min, allot less then the top load I had, for the same heavy load it was 2hrs 45min. Washes great and seems to get everything cleaner then the H.E top load I had which was only 4 years old
A:AnswerThe Wi-Fi can be turned off and on, a misconception with the Wi-Fi is that you can set different functions like turning on and off the machine, but it does not do that, it displays on the app how much time is running and just informational stuff doesn’t do anything.
A:AnswerHello there - We're happy to offer some insight here. The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage and over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. We hope this is helpful! Let us know if you have any other questions - we're always glad to assist. All the best, Kesley@GEA
A:AnswerI do not know if it has a lint filter. I have not looked for one and never heard of a washing machine with one. This probably is not helpful but you could check the online manual and search the document to see if it has one.
A:AnswerI wonder if selecting for a bulkier load would give you more water, i.e. play around a bit with different types of wash settings? I know front load washers are supposed to require less water...you sure you really need it?
A:AnswerHello there, we first want to congratulate you on your new washer. In addition, we're sorry your cycles are taking longer than expected. We can imagine how frustrating this would be on you and we're happy to help. We first recommend disconnecting power to the unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls. In addition, make sure that you have the Sanitize/Oxi cycle selected. If a cycle lasting this long were to happen again, we'd recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to ensure everything is working properly. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). If there's an issue to be addressed, we're confident our technician would be able to get you taken care of. Thank you for trusting us to help. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerI am concerned about this as well. After spending a grand on this machine I don't want it scratched. Our previous white whirlpool top loader was scratched a lot. The sides and front of this machine I am not too concerned about, but the top looks just too easy to scratch. I decided to cover it. The solution I picked was the rubber mesh stuff that gets sold for the lining of kitchen drawers and cabinets. I bought it in black and it looks just fine on the top of the blue washer. FYI I trick I use for saving money - I don't buy it when packaged and sold for kitchen drawer use. The exact same material is sold for placing under area rugs and small carpets for holding them in place on hard floors. It is the same thing, but they package it in large sizes at the same price as the kitchen liners. A pair of scissors is all it takes.
