• If you dont fill the reserve smart dispense wont actually do anything!

• Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in this beautiful washer. In order to utilize the Smart Dispense feature, the pad on the electronic control must be pressed to activate. If you choose not to use Smart Dispense, don't press the Smart Dispense pad. The light on the pad will turn on if it is pressed accidentally. We hope you choose this great model for your home.
