It’s in the upper part of the oven. U have to move the metal rack to the upper level.

Does your broiler have a smell when you use it? 
Model #JGB660EEJES has a really strong nauseous smell when the broiler is used.

I don't cook, but my spouse tells me that it is the top part of the oven and controlled by the Hi/Low Control pad located on the bottom left side of the Front Control Panel. Hope this answers your question. Seems to be a good mid priced gas range.

Hi jfl- The range features in-oven broiling and has a lower storage drawer. The Broil Hi-Lo pad gives you the capability of reducing the oven temperature during the broil function. Hi Broil: Functions at 550 degrees Fahrenheit. It gives a quicker broiling to sear in natural food juices. Recommended for thinner cuts of meat and/or foods you prefer less done on the interior. Lo Broil: Functions at 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It gives a slower broiling to ensure doneness without drying out the food. Recommended for thicker cuts of meat and/or foods you prefer cooked all the way through. On gas models, the gas flame height is the same for Hi and Lo Broil. The flame will cycle off more often when set to Lo Broil. Thanks for choosing GE! SUE@GEA
