“Its not clear from the install manual how the edge of the slide-in range is supposed to be in relation to countertop. Is it supposed to be flush and equal in height to adjacent counter or should edge of range overhang over adjacent counter? Thanks,”

Hi rudog - Starting in September 2017, we are offering electric, gas, and dual fuel front control slide-in ranges with no overhang, an edge-to-edge cooking surface, and color matched finished sides. No overhang simplifies installation, especially with countertop less than or more than 36" and can be installed with counters with beveled edges. Also provides a better fit and appearance with ADA countertops (usually 34"H). Accessory trim kits are available to purchase if needed (JXFILLR1BB/JXFILLR1SS). Thanks for your interest in PHS930SLSS.
