Hello there, thank you for reaching out. On radiant (glass) cooktops, the surface temperature limiters are what monitor the surface temperature and will shut off (surface indicator lights) when the surface temperature drops below 150 degrees. If this stays on after this, we first suggest disconnecting power to the unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls. If the problem persists, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). We hope this information is found beneficial and we're wishing you the best. - Guy@GEA
