“The manual depicts knobs off the range. Our range (surface cooking) is ALL touch controlled - is this the same model? Also, our range is cutting off automatically after we set the temp. How do we keep this from occurring? Thanks!”

Sounds like you have the GE Profile series which is all touch controlled. It is very similar to the other. I would expect them to share many of the same functions. As for the range cutting off after setting the temperature, you may need to push the START button immediately after setting temp for the range to start and keep heating until your are done, then push cancel/off button to stop. Hope this is helpful.
